The Prolactin test measures serum prolactin levels - if you are using a 19-Nor compound this is a good marker to keep an eye on to minimize side effects



Instructions

Fasting is not required for this test. If you are supplementing with any hormones, we suggest taking them approximately 2 hours prior to having your blood drawn to see peak levels. Hormones are best drawn between 8-10 AM. Hormonal contraceptives can interfere with progesterone and estrogen results.


Price includes $15 mandatory labcorp draw fee

After order completion, we will submit your Lab Requisition Form to Labcorp within 24 (business) hours. You will also be emailed a copy of your LRF to take to your nearest Labcorp with valid photo ID. Your results will be available in your Labcorp Patient Portal as soon as they become available (depends on tests ordered), and we will securely email you a PDF copy. Email verification will be required, please check your spam folder.
